Acne Scars

Acne scars can be a problem in the future for you if you are suffering from acne. You might be already a victim of it. In either situation, you may feel dejected due to the scars.

Acne scars are the leftover ugly-looking marks after the acnes disappear. It may be caused by your trying to halt outbreaks and to stop oil production for the acne treatment.

Many people with acne use strong detergent soaps to control oil that comes out from within their bodies onto the skin. Worst, they rub their faces with the soaps.

Dermatologists highly recommend not to use detergent soaps, but mild cleansing soaps and not to rub the face as the acnes on it will get rubbed, which will cause scarring after the disappearance of acne.

It also affects 30% of those with moderate or severe Acne vulgaris. It is particularly common in Acne conglobata and Acne fulminans.

The underlying cause of acne scarring is that the tissue is either damaged or lost. The newest scars have a much better chance of getting healed than the older ones. You should consult your dermatologist as soon as you notice acne scars.

There are, however, some home-based treatments you can perform yourself to get rid of your acne scars. One thing you can do is to use a good acne scar removing cream.

Another home-based way to take care of your acne scars is the applying of aloe vera juices and jells on your scars. Lavender oil is also pretty productive for the removal of acne scars.
